There are several ESPN working groups focusing on specific areas of paediatric nephrology. Each group includes a convenor, who is responsible for the running of the working group and an individual who is the link point with ESPN council. There are currently 9 ESPN working groups (in 2019, immune-mediated renal disease and nephrotic syndrome merged to form a single glomerular diseases group):
