Case description:
A 3 week-old male neonate (born at 36 weeks’ gestation) presents with a swollen abdomen, a swollen scrotum and reduced urine output.
Laboratory findings include a sodium of 108 mmol/L, potassium 7.5 mmol/L, bicarbonate 13.3 mmol/l, creatinine of 420 µmol/L, urea 16 mmol/L.
